A versatile piece that can be worn as a brooch or teamed with a chain to become a pendant.
When Heinrich Schliemann found this famous piece during his excavations at Mycenae, he is said to have exclaimed: 'I have gazed upon the face of Agamemnon'. Since then, it has been known as 'Agamemnon's death mask'. The original, in solid gold, is in the National Archaeological Museum in Athens.

Handmade for us in Greece, this jewellery collection is inspired by ancient Greek coins, the art and jewellery of the Minoan civilisation, familiar symbolic images and motifs, and the animals that played a significant part in ancient Greek culture.
This brooch is made of sterling silver, hallmarked '925'.
