Beautiful and youthful Apollo is represented here wearing his signature laurel wreath, symbol of artistic achievement. Apollo was one of the most versatile of the ancient Greek gods. His spheres of influence included the the sun and light, culture and civilisation, disease and healing, prophecy and oracles, music and poetry.
His most common attributes are the lyre and the laurel wreath (as here), reminding us of his pursuit of the nymph Daphne and her subsequent metamorphosis into a laurel tree.
This bronze head has been cast for us, in Greece, using the traditional 'lost wax' method. Shown below with the larger bust of Apollo:
