Originals of these miniature vases date to around the late sixth and early fifth centuries BC, are to be found in the grave hoards from the ancient Kerameikos in Athens. They are thought to have been used as votive offerings and toys for children.

This mini lekythos shows a seated musician playing the lyre, the instrument of Homer, Apollo, and Orpheus.

    They are all made in Greece in the workshop of the Lioulias family, with whom It's All Greek is proud to have been working since 2004.


    The vases themselves are manufactured in Greece, the images are then applied by transfer, before being painted by hand.
