This fruit bowl from Phaistos, in the 'Kamares' style, is particularly admirable for its spiral designs, which were recurrent motifs in Minoan art. The original, dating to ca 1800BC, is in the Heraklion Museum in Crete (image below).
This collection of Minoan pottery is made in Greece. The vases themselves are manufactured in Greece, the images transferred and painted by hand. The texture, colouring and final finish is as close to that of the original as possible.
