The original krater, with unusual sculptured decoration of flowers, is a 'baroque' creation in the Kamares style from the Old Palace of Phaistos. It dates to ca 1800BC and is now in the Archaeological Museum in Heraklion.
Our collection of Minoan pottery is made in Greece. The vases themselves are manufactured in Greece, the images transferred and painted by hand. The texture, colouring and final finish is as close to that of the original as possible.
