A gorgeous little miniature! The prototype is the plain, uncrested Corinthian style of the 6th century BC. Originals of these can be found in museums across the world, but the particular models used by our bronze supplier in Greece are in the Goulandris Collection in the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens, and the Archaeological Museum in Olympia.
|material||Bronze. Cast using the lost wax method of antiquity. As they are not mass-produced, there will inevitably be slight variations in patination and colouring. Each piece is, therefore, unique.|
|country of origin||Made in Greece.|
