Poseidon was the brother of Zeus (king of the gods) and Hades (god of the Underworld). He was the god elemental god of the sea, flowing water and earthquakes. With his signature trident, he would strike the ocean floor to cause violent tempests. He was married to the sea nymph Amphitrite but had no children with her. His extra-marital offspring included the winged horse Pegasus and the one-eyed Cyclops.

He is cast for us, in Greece, using the traditional 'lost wax' method. As nothing is mass-produced, there will inevitably be slight variations in patination and colouring. Each piece is, therefore, unique.
