vases and bowls

Our bronze vases and bowls are produced for us in Greece by a well-known family of specialist bronzesmiths, with whom we have been working since 2000. Each piece is individually cast using the lost-wax technique. The method of oxidisation and patination results in a rich combination of texture and colour unique to each piece. There may be the occasional pitting, which means that the vessels might not always be able to hold liquid. In any case we would advise against using them for any liquid designated for human consumption!

So by 'functional', we mean that these lovely pieces can be used to hold candles or tealights, business cards, fruit and nuts, and anything else you might wish to put in a 'normal' bowl or vessel.
