The Piraeus Apollo, so called after he was discovered off Piraeus in 1959 with a group of other bronzes. He is now in the Piraeus Museum, is 1.92 m high and dates to ca 530-510 BC ( the earliest known cast large-scale statue). The right hand would have originally held a phiale, and there are remains of a bow in the left.

He is made for us, in Greece,  of a resin polymer then finished, by hand, with 'bronze effect'.
