Goddess of health, healing and wellbeing. She was the grand-daughter of Apollo. Her name gives us our word 'hygiene'. The original marble head, currently in the National Museum in Athens, was found in the Temple of Apollo at Tegea and is probably the work of the 4th century BC sculptor Skopas.
She is cast for us, in Greece, using the traditional 'lost wax' method. As nothing is mass-produced, there will inevitably be slight variations in patination and colouring. Each piece is, therefore, unique. She is mounted on a marble base.
